Kevin Sloan (b. 1958) is a prominent American painter celebrated for his vivid acrylic on canvas works that blend contemporary allegorical storytelling with a distinct style of "magical realism." His intricate, dreamlike compositions pair a meticulous, 19th-century naturalist wildlife aesthetic with modern, man-made objects to poetically examine the fragile relationship between the natural world and human civilization. A graduate of the Tyler School of Art (BFA) and the University of Arizona (MFA), Sloan’s highly collectible work is exhibited widely in premier fine art galleries and held in prestigious permanent museum collections worldwide, including the Phoenix Art Museum and the Israel Museum.
