A seemingly playful name, this work is primarily stark with accompanying warm and usually “bright” accents of warm orange and red tones; however, the work is intended to capture an essence of “growing up” (i.e. part of one’s Odyssey); elements of the realization of real world issues and problems seem more daunting as one continues through childhood to adulthood (i.e. this work includes an almost “barbwire” aspect of charcoal and ink, accompanying normally uplifting colors).
